Rapid Implementation

The decision to implement GRACE2 for Galvin Design Gallery Pty Ltd was made in late October 2008. On 1st December 2008 it was live.

Working with key personnel in the company, our implementation team extracted all necessary customer, supplier and product information from their legacy systems and put it together in a spreadsheet, ready for direct import to GRACE2. GRACE2 has a very flexible data import facility that not only allows import of data from spreadsheets but gives comprehensive warnings regarding possible problems with any data import before it gets imported, allowing you to make sure the data is clean before uploading.

Of course, simply uploading the base data is only a small part of a systems implementation. Also taking place in those short weeks was:

• Staff training
• Front end customization/branding
• User login and role setup
• Integration with Galvin design Gallery’s MYOB accounting
• Requested enhancements to the Quotations module to support specific business practices of Galvin Design Gallery
